As part of our team communications plan: Most coaches default to only getting their team together at the last practice celebration. I highly recommend you consider adding a couple other informal touch points along the way. If you as a coach perform flawlessly in your normal duties, you’ve given some kids (and your own) a great soccer experience. But you’re also a member of the community, wouldn’t be great if you benefited directly by creating additional relationships with our families in your area? Extracurricular activities off the field are the better way to bond with other parents. Consider adding 1-2 other opportunities in-or-around practices for a fun picnic or pizza or similar activity.
